How Our Dumpster Rental Service Works

PJ Trucking & Land Clearing in Port St Lucie, FL, has a dumpster service that offers a convenient and efficient waste disposal solution for your project needs. Before delivery, please coordinate with your project manager to schedule the delivery appropriately. Our service is based on a 10-day schedule for the contracted price. However, if you require longer-term services, we offer special rates for our builder service accounts, and you can contact our office to obtain more information.

It is important to note that the Federal Department of Transportation does not allow filling the dumpster above the rim line. Therefore, estimating the amount of debris you will generate and ordering the appropriate size is crucial. The most common dumpster rental is the 20 Yard dumpster. The 20 yard is big enough for most major projects and this is by far the size that is rented the most.
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Florida?

It generally costs anywhere from $300 - $1000 to rent a dumpster in Florida. It also depends what size dumpster you are renting (10-Yard, 20-yard, 30-Yard or 40-Yard dumpster) and the materials you are putting inside of the dumpster. Dumpsters typically have a rental rate and additional cost for weight inside the dumpster (although for materials like clean concrete or vegetation typically get billed with a flat rate). Our dumpster rental rates are as follows:

10 yard dumpster rental = $375 (includes 1 ton of weight, anything over billed $60 a ton)

20 yard dumpster rental = $500 (includes 2 tons of weight, anything over billed $60 an ton)

What is the difference between a 10 yard and 15 yard dumpster?

A 10 yard dumpster and 15 yard dumpster are quite similar in size, that's why we offer a 10 yard and a 20 yard option. A 10 yard dumpster is about 10’ long, 7’ wide and x 4’ tall. The 10-yard dumpster rental can hold about four pickup truck loads and up to about 6,000 pounds. We also have the 20-yard dumpster option which is 4’ high, 7’ wide and 20’ long. The 20 yard dumpster can hold about twice as much as the 10 yard dumpster. (please keep in mind the price for weight overage on each dumpster size).
What is a 30 yard dumpster good for?

The 30 yard dumpster is mostly used for construction or demolition projects. The 30 yard dumpster rental is good for large home renovations, new building construction, commercial building, renovations and more. The 30 yard dumpster is 7’ tall, 7’ wide and 20’ long.
Do you need a permit for a dumpster in FL?

You typically do not need a permit to rent a dumpster in Florida. You do not need a permit to rent a dumpster on your own property or your own contracted work. You may need to have a permit if the dumpster rental is going on public/town or city property

How do I load a dumpster rental?

Break down boxes in order to utilize as much space as possible.It is best to put bulk at the bottom of the dumpster. Fill the gaps so you can get the best use of your dumpster rental. Try to distribute weight evenly. DO NOT LOAD TO HIGH, Materials should not go past 6 Inches from top of the dumpster
How do I choose the right dumpster for my project?

First look at the kind of materials and debris you will be filling the dumpster with. If there are different kinds of waste such as concrete, vegetation and construction materials all in one bin it may end up costing you more than If you rented separate dumpsters for each material. Materials like concrete can be disposed of separately for a flat fee and the same goes for vegetation.
